Pam was born on the scenic west coast of Scotland and is a graduate of the Glasgow School of Art.

Encouraging and artistic parents and an early career in design, forged a love of colour.

The guidance of Scottish painters, Jim Wylie and the late John Cunningham, helped lay the foundations for her individual style of painting to develop naturally over time.

Influenced by the strong colourist tradition in Scottish and French Painting, a fresh modern approach is favoured, one which respects traditional drawing and painting methods, whilst offering something new and completely individual.

Inspired by the colour and light of the Scottish Islands, Pam relocated with her husband to the Isle of Lewis in 2020,

to a small coastal village perched on the Northern tip of the Outer Hebrides,

It is here that she is able to focus on painting the vast windswept beaches, coastal machair and fleeting clouds.
